- Responds to and solves operational problems
Entry Level:
S/NVQ in Process Operations L3 OR
S/NVQ in Process Engineering Maintenance L3
AND National Certificate in Operations and Maintenance Engineering L3 OR
National Diploma in Operations and Maintenance Engineering L3 OR
Certificate in Process Technology L3
AND Related Job Experience
AND Functional Skills - Numeracy, Literacy and IT L2

Pay and conditions:
First Line Managers / Shift Supervisors can expect to earn between 20,000GBP and 30,000GBP.
Working hours can involve shifts, evening and weekend work and long hours. First Line Managers/Shift Supervisors can work on continuous or batch type processes.
First Line Managers / Shift Supervisors may need to wear personal protective equipment, including overalls, gloves, hard hat and safety goggles depending on the role.

ILM Introductory Certificate in First Line Management L3 OR
ILM Certificate in First Line Management L3
HNC in Chemical Engineering (or similar) L4 OR
Foundation Degree in Chemical Engineering (or similar) L4
Business Improvement Techniques L3
